Centesis Pharmaceuticals Two Month Long Christmas Party Dates Announced

22nd November 2017: Centesis, the world leaders in regenerative genetic treatment and healthcare are holding a two month long Christmas party like no other at their Reading Research facility. This will run from 2nd December to 27th January. There is a highly confidential presentation of a new product which they believe has the power to revolutionise human life as we know it. They are placing the publication of our discovery in your hands. They trust that you will respect company policy and only publicise this after the product has gone through testing. Expect the unexpected. Nothing will prepare you for what you are about to see. After all, a party organised by DEAD wacky masterminds is never a traditional office party.

So why are we blithering on about a Pharma company? Well as you have may have guessed (if you have seen the images) this is all in relation to ZOMBIES.

Zombie experience days from Zed Events no less. These guys have terrified over 40,000 victims since their launch 5 years ago will lay on ‘full immersion’ zombie survival events in an 250,000 Sqft abandoned shopping mall for the holiday season. Each event in their Reading facility is an adrenaline and blood soaked survival horror event like no other. From arrival, the thrill seeker will be part of an unfolding story that will play out in real time.

A Zed Events experience is like being in a film, except you are not acting. The fear will be real. This is what is meant by ‘Full Immersion.’ The team use movie quality Special Effects, weapons and props (provided by Hollywood SFX artists) to achieve something that is unrivaled in live survival horror. Fanomenon Day of the Dead 4

As part of the Fanomenon, the genre cinema section at the 24th Leeds International Film Festival which is the biggest film festival in England outside of London, Fanomenon Day of the Dead 4 will showcase 12 hours of horror features and shorts at Leeds Town Hall this Saturday 13th Nov 9pm. Fanomenon Day of the Dead 4 is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated events in the country for fans of international horror and genre films. With selections and exclusives from the vast universe of the horror genre, special guest appearances, extended on stage interviews and special preview events, horror fans can experience some of the years? most talked about films in the magnificent settings of Leeds Town Hall, transformed for Leeds International Film Festival 2010 with a giant new 12 by 5 metre cinema screen, and full digital surround sound in the stalls and balcony.

Fanomenon Day of the Dead 4 opens with The Last Employee (UK premiere), an unnerving creepfest from Germany, followed by Simon Rumley’s (The Living and the Dead, LIFF 2006 and Silver M?li?s jury member 2009) return with his brutal and harrowing tale of the American dream gone wrong in Red, White and Blue. Next up is Rare Exports (in the first UK screening outside London) which will expose the shocking truth about Santa Claus and the UK premiere of terrifying Spanish home invasion shocker Kidnapped. Add in the best new European genre shorts we could find and a host of guests and you can be sure this is going to be a day not to be missed. The day ends with The Dead, a stunning yet terrifying ?zombie journey movie? filmed in never-before-seen on screen parts of Africa.

Red White and Blue will be attended by director Simon Rumley (The Living and the Dead), and The Dead?s first UK screening outside of London will be attended by directors Howard and Jon Ford, as well as Lieutenant Brian Murphy himself Rob Freeman. The film will also be competing for the Silver M?li?s award with several other films over the weekend. This prestigious competition takes place every year across 10 European film festivals, of which Fanomenon at Leeds International Film Festival is the UK host. This year, the Jury? includes Marc Price, who shot to fame last year after screening his zombie film Colin at Cannes, which was made for just ?45! Steven Sheil the director of Mum and Dad returns after winning the Silver M?li?s in 2008, and the Festival is honoured to welcome Martin Barker, esteemed academic and Professor of Film and Television Studies at Aberystwyth University

Fanomenon does not end with Day of the Dead however: on Sunday 14th November there is a brilliant line up of horror and thriller films at the Hyde Park Picture House from 1pm-11pm, including French horror The Pack, the thrilling Savage which will be attended by director Brendan Muldowney, shocking documentary Catfish, the beautiful giallo film Amer and the UK premiere of the intelligent and harrowing A Horrible Way to Die. On the last weekend of LIFF (Fri 19th), anime fans can experience five anime films in the stunning Town Hall for just ?20, including the highly anticipated Mardock Scramble and fast paced mayhem of Redline.

Free J-Horror Selection Announced for July!

Indie Movies Online is the new way to watch movies online for FREE! The movie-on-demand website www.indiemoviesonline.com offers hundreds of great films to watch in the UK at high quality online, legally and for free. Ju-On White Ghost (2009) – July 5th

Aka The Grudge: Old Lady in White. A son brutally and methodically murders all five of his family members after failing the bar exam. He then hangs himself, leaving behind a cassette recorder at the scene on which he can be heard saying, “I’ll come… I’ll come soon”, in unison with a young girl’s voice. The child’s voice belongs to his sister, a victim of the family massacre and the elementary school best friend of Akane.

Ju-On Black Ghost (2009) – July 6th

Aka The Grudge: Girl in Black. A Nurse named Yuko has a strange experience while taking care of a girl named Fukie. Test results show a cyst inside Fukie’s body, but that cyst is actually the leftover grudge from a baby who was unable to be born. The cysts grudge spreads to Fukie and everyone around her. Fukie’s sister Mariko has special spiritual power and has some success driving out the evil spirit. But the worst of the grudge is yet to come…..

Tokyo Gore Police (2008) – July 7th

Set in a future-world vision of Tokyo where the police have been privatized and bitter self-mutilation is so casual that advertising is often specially geared to the “cutter” demographic, this is the story of samurai-sword-wielding Ruka and her mission to avenge her father’s assassination. Ruka is a cop from a squad who’s mission is to destroy homicidal mutant humans known as “Engineers” possessing the ability to transform any injury to a weapon in and of itself.

Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl (2009) – July 8th

Transfer student Monami has a secret and a past that has caught up with Mizushima. Deceiving Mizushima into eating a token gift of chocolate, laced with her blood, he is then catapulted into Monami’s vampire world of blood, death and love. Jilted girlfriend Keiko has other ideas. With a sudden twist of fate, she is then transformed into the hideous and unforgiving Frankenstein Girl, and the battle for Mizushima’s heart begins.

X-Cross (2007) – July 9th

Recovering from a failed love affair Shiyori heads to the country, in the company of best friend and bad girl Aiko. Having taken a soak in the hot spring they retire to their respective cabins. They soon discover that the tranquil village is the home of a cult with a fetish for cutting off female legs. They are split up trying to escape. Multiple points of view and time frames keeps the viewer on their toes trying to discern the grisly fate of these girls.

Starfish Hotel (2006) – July 12th

Salaryman Arisu scurries rodent-like between packed commuter trains, humdrum office paper-pushing, and the Ikea hell that is his apartment, retreating for solace into the mystery novels of Jo Kuroda, set in the menacing and unknowable Darkland. A man with a past, the memories of an affair he had years before start to seep into his everyday life. When the motif of Kuroda’s novels suddenly becomes a reality for Arisu, the walls between fact and fiction, past and present, begin to dissolve, with horrifying consequences.

Samurai Princess (2009) – July 13th

An evil forest overran by outlaws and mechas (robots) who rape and kill any poor soul who enters. But there is someone else in this forest. A mecha who is a spirit of vengeance and a warrior! This mecha can fight and bring justice to the innocents. They call her Samurai Princess!

Goth: Love of Death (2008) July 14th

The film follows two teenagers in a grey Tokyo suburb; Morino is a pale, though pretty, loner that no one takes an interest in and Kamiyama is one of the most popular guys in school. They?re opposites but have one thing in common ? an unhealthy interest in the work of a local serial killer who murders beautiful women, removes their left hand and leaves them elegantly posed to be found by a horrified member of the public.

Battle Royale (2000) – July 15th

In the near future, when the society of Japan is crumbling, 42 students find that their field trip is actually a military-sponsored game known as Battle Royale. The kids’ sadistic teacher, Kitano, sends them to an isolated island and gives them three days to kill each other until only one remains…

July 16th sees Indie Movies Online present a re-mastered version of George Romero?s classic 80s horror. Zombies rule the USA, except for a small group of scientists and military personnel who reside in an underground bunker in Florida. The scientists are using the undead in gruesome experiments; much to the chagrin of the military. Finally the military finds that their men have been used in the scientists’ experiments, and banish the scientists to the caves that house the living dead. Unfortunately, the zombies from above ground have made their way into the bunker
