John Carter Of Mars - From The Page and Onto Blu Ray
Lets not Pussy Foot around with this. John Carter BOMBED at the cinema, especially in the USA. This is despite favourable reviews from most corners. It is true to say that it was missed by many during it’s theatrical release, and I truely believe that this will shine on the home cinema of many of you out there.

The 2nd July 2012 brings John Carter to the missed masses through the DVD and Blu Ray releases.

The movie John Carter is based John Carter Of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs, part of his A Princess of Mars series of novels.

The special effects are something the critics focused on, possibly as a Science Fiction story line still reeks of GEEK.

John Carter Story Line

John Carter is a war-weary, former military captain who?s inexplicably transported to Mars and reluctantly becomes embroiled in an epic conflict as the planet hovers on the precipice of collapse. With surprising new powers and forces, John Carter battles and rises to become a heroic warrior.

All versions of the Blu Ray and DVD carry an insightful bonus feature focusing on the origins of John Carter by Edgar Rice Burroughs and its influence on legendary filmmakers James Cameron and George Lucas, when developing their seminal works ‘Avatar’ and ‘Star Wars’ respectively.

John Carter stars the rising Hollywood actor Taylor Kitsch (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) as JC himself, Lynn Collins (who was also in X-Men Origins: Wolverine) as Dejah Thoris, Willem Dafoe as Tars Tarkas, and Dominic (The Wire) West as Sab Than. The screenplay is written by Andrew Stanton, Mark Andrews and Michael Chabon.

John Carter will be available to buy and rent on Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and DVD as well available to download on iTunes and VOD.
