A double threat for Kate Stewart’s UNIT team as they face classic and new aliens in a brand-new box set of full-cast audio dramas released today by Big Finish Productions.

UNIT – Nemesis: Objective: Earth
UNIT has fought the Vulpreen on their world and in small numbers on Earth. Now Kate (Jemma Redgrave), Osgood (Ingrid Oliver) and their team stand ready for the greatest confrontation of all. A warning has been received – the Vulpreen are coming, in force. And their objective is the conquest of the planet.

The Vulpreen are firing on all cylinders with the help of the scavenger entity, Axos (Richard Goulding) – first seen in the 1971 Doctor Who TV story, The Claws of Axos.

Joining Kate and Osgood in this high-stakes battle are Captain Josh Carter (James Joyce), Naomi Cross (Eleanor Crooks), Lieutenant Jimmy Tan (Chris Lew Kum Hoi) and journalist Jacqui McGee (Tracy Wiles). And the multi-personality renegade Time Lord the Eleven (Mark Bonnar) is back… but whose side is he on?

UNIT – Nemesis: Objective: Earth is now available to own for just £24.99 (collector’s edition CD box set + download) or £19.99 (download only) exclusively from www.bigfinish.com.

Jemma Redgrave said: “We meet Kate ready for action. As she says, slightly resignedly, ‘UNIT never sleeps’. It’s always a complete joy to get the call to come back for UNIT Big Finish dramas. As always, the scripts are really high-quality and are boisterous white-knuckle ride adventures!

“I’ve loved every minute playing opposite Ingrid. It’s brilliant being back in the studio. She’s not only a wonderful actor, but she’s a top human. She really makes me laugh.”

Ingrid Oliver (Osgood)

Ingrid Oliver added: “It’s always lovely to be in a room with Jemma and to come back and play Osgood. The joy of Osgood is that in some ways she’s like a Miss Marple – she’s a scientific detective. The Doctor isn’t the only one who gets those ‘aha!’ moments.

“Just when you think the stakes can’t get any higher, they do, and then it’s all cliffhangers. This one has got it all!”
